Hello! My name is Sunya Haq. I am a senior in High School and am an aspiring anesthesiologist. In my free time, I like to read, work out, and be productive. This productivity relates directly to medicine. With 2+ years of experience in the medical field, I am actively striving to expand my experience and research in the medical field through diligence and dedication to my future career.

Mission Statement

As I go through this year in the Independent Study Mentorship Program, I am determined to leap over my fears and be willing to take risks I never would have thought of before. I want to truly get a feel as to how my future as an Anesthesiologist can be, motivating myself to become the best possible version of myself. By working with a mentor, I will strive to create an extremely well-crafted final product that will represent the multitude of knowledge gained throughout this course. I want to use my determination and hardworking attitude to create a real difference in society, and to leave behind a legacy that will leave an impression on generations to come.

Initail Spark In Anesthesia

Before we committed to a topic completely in this program, we were assigned two assignments to ensure we fully understand our possible topic choice.

The Career/Industry Forecast contains all the research I did covering the topic of anesthesia before completely comitting to my topic.

The Topic Proposal is my confirmation that I am choosing anesthesia as my topic, summarizing why, how and how it can benefit me in the future.
